　　國立東華大學在IHBI 2023大學排名在世界前1000名，臺灣第16名。The International Agency of State, Corporate and Private Rating(IHBI)成立於 2021 年，該機構旨在評估國家和市政結構、公司和私營部門的組織和機構及其領導人。來自 180 個國家/地區的 270多位科學家和專家在這一年中參與了這些世界評級。“IHBI”介紹了2023年世界最佳校長和大學評級的世界1000名結果，臺灣僅有16學校入列。排名根據的標準及評級方法為：1. 師生的專業發展水準；2. 師生獲獎成就；3. 國際合作；4. 學術表現；5. 大學對世界發展、它們所在的國家、環境的影響；6. 傑出的畢業生等。

　　東華大學於全球最佳大學排名，已獲國際肯定，2022 年泰晤士高等教育特刊（THE）亞洲大學臺灣排名並列17名；年輕大學臺灣排名並列第6名；世界大學影響力排名，名列臺灣第14。此外，《Cheers》雜誌舉辦2023年「大學校長辦學績效互評調查」排名並列第11名。東華大學雖位處臺灣東部，能有如此卓越表現，誠屬不易，從中可看出全體師生積極認真的把學校辦得有聲有色。

東華大學境外學生近千人，姊妹校達476所，簽署國際合作協議588份，每年提供約500 個交換學生名額，積極推動師生國際交流以提升視野，並營造多元優質的國際化學習環境。

National Dong Hwa University is ranked within the top 1000 universities in the world and 16th in Taiwan in the IHBI 2023 university rankings. The International Agency of State, Corporate and Private Rating (IHBI) was established in 2021 with the aim of evaluating organizations and institutions, including their leaders, in national and municipal structures, companies, and the private sector. Over 270 scientists and experts from 180 countries/regions participated in the global rankings for 2023. The IHBI released the world's top 1000 school principal and university rankings, with only 16 schools from Taiwan making the list. The ranking criteria include: 1) professional development of faculty and students, 2) student and faculty achievements, 3) international collaboration, 4) academic performance, 5) the university's impact on the world, the country it is located in, and the environment, and 6) outstanding graduates.

National Dong Hwa University has received international recognition in global university rankings. In the 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings, it was tied for 17th place in Taiwan; in the young university rankings, it was tied for 6th place in Taiwan; and in the world university impact rankings, it was ranked 14th in Taiwan. In addition, in the 2023 "University President School Performance Evaluation Survey" conducted by Cheers magazine, it was tied for 11th place. Despite being located in the eastern part of Taiwan, National Dong Hwa University has achieved outstanding performance, which is not easy to come by. This demonstrates the dedication and hard work of all faculty and students in making the university successful.

National Dong Hwa University has nearly 1000 overseas students, 476 sister schools, and has signed 588 international cooperation agreements. It offers approximately 500 exchange student spots each year, actively promoting international exchanges between faculty and students to broaden their horizons and create a diverse and high-quality international learning environment.
